Commercial and Operations Manager Training Western Europe

The position aims to ensure a commercially optimized training operation in line with the operational and strategic objectives of the Service division in the Western Europe region (Netherlands, France, UK , Belgium and Ireland). This includes coordinating the ENERCON efficient operation of the training centers in this region. A key aspect is managing with agreed and project-specific KPIs to quantify training performance. In this position, you will hierarchically manage 4 to 6 employees within the Training department. In addition, developing a system with performance metrics is crucial. This system should provide insight into the benefits of the training courses carried out and demonstrate how they contribute to the organization's wider objectives in Western Europe. You will report to the Manager Training in Western Europe. 

Tasks & responsibilities

• Coordinate commercial activities in the training centres in close cooperation with the TC’s operational leads.
• Compile and report commercial and operational KPIs with suggestions for improvement.
• Support projects to improve training efficiency.
• In collaboration with management, define budgets based on strategy.
• Review and report monthly on all agreed KPIs.
• Implement the commercial training strategy in all training hubs and centres.
• Develop efficiency and competence improvement programs including related business cases.
• Monitor the development of external training providers and assess business cases for future collaborations.

What we ask of you

• Master or equivalent in commercial and international business and development experience.
• Minimum 5 year commercial management experience, preferably in an international environment.
• Proven track record as a leader and manager of multi stakeholder environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1) and Dutch, French is desirable.
• MS Office experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills: motivating/inspiring, integrity/honest, solutions and result driven with a “can do” attitude.
• The ability to unite teams for the common good of the company, our customers and our people.
